Est. in 1993 and never had much use for “normal” shoes since i spend more time in forests, trees and rivers than anywhere else. So it was sturdy boots or nothing.
The other half of me rescued all kinds of animals and ditched the plan to become a veterinarian/biologist somwhere along the way, don’t remember why.

My vacation days get spend in various volunteer projects and NGOs, because all I want is to use my skills to improve not only monetary things but also peoples everyday lifes.
Or, not as often as I’d like to, in my overlanding rig somewhere across germany, netherlands, denmark etc.

Professional

I started to teach myself programming at around 13y old. From there I went down every rabbit hole I could find.
Ended up doing my apprentice years at a company who build websites and a CMS for high-load news websites.

Since I was always deep into automation and improving existing processes I enden up in a DevOps like position.
Thats also where I’m currently at. Working as a DevOps Engineer.
